Adele has tweeted a picture this afternoon (October 1st) to confirm the speculation that have been whirling around the internet over the past couple of weeks, that she is in fact, the lady responsible for the James Bond Skyfall theme song.

All the picture showed was some lovely nails, along with the cover of the sheer music, which included her name in the credits.

According to Prefix Mag, ‘Skyfall’ was co-written and produced by Adele’s production partner Paul Epworth, the man behind her Grammy-winning hit ‘Rolling In the Deep.’ J.A.C. Redford, an Emmy-nominated film/television composer, is credited alongside Epworth for his work on the arrangement.

After reading a copy of the Skyfall script, Adele proceeded to involve Epworth, and together the decision to pen one of the ultimate musical feats was “a no brainer”.

Adele will premiere “Skyfall” globally via her official website (www.Adele.tv) on Thursday, Oct. 4, 7:07 p.m. EST. Skyfall hits cinemas October 26 in the UK.

Adele is now officially adding her name to the sheer amount of talented divas who have composed earlier James Bond theme songs, such as Shirely Bassey, Tina Turner, Carly Simon and Sheena Easton.
